Today our nation’s lawmakers closed ranks with the billionaire class to betray us all. My fasting focus for this week will be those who voted for those who voted for this. Because you’ve been sold down the river along with the rest of us, and when you realize that, your pain is going to be great, and your despair overwhelming. You will need a hand reached out to you.
For the rest of us, in the meantime, take a moment. Breathe. Take a break. We know this fight will be long, and we know people are going to get hurt. Let us strengthen our networks, and grow them whenever and however we can. I am thinking of you today.

I feel that same pain. I called both Britt and Tuberville and left a message “I am so disappointed you let us down in Alabama.” I had already written both of them pleading for them to think of us in Alabama who are the middle class. My fasting is for all of us who will suffer because of the MAGA Republicans like Britt and Tuberville .
